The Boostaroo Pocket PC Amplifier.

Transform your pocket sized audio player to anything but pocket sized!

Like other portable audio devices such as CD or MP3 players, Pocket PC's are restricted by the device's compact size and power requirements, and as a result, deliver what most consider 'inferior audio.' It's good enough in a quiet environment but let's face it: when's the last time you were somewhere quiet?

The Boostaroo Pocket PC amplifier is the perfect Pocket PC and PDA accessory.

Boostaroo is a compact, self-powered audio headphone amplifier and splitter that lets you plug in up to three sets of headphones, and provides a way to listen to music or spoken voice tracks from your Pocket PC with improved volume and no distortion, regardless of what's going on in the world around you. It's perfect for listening to audio on airplanes, in crowded places, or even on a bus.

Pocket PC

  • Innovative pocket sized
    audio amplifier
  • Compact size (4.5" x 1" x 1")
  • Provides a 100 percent increase
    in audio output
  • Connects up to three headphones
  • Stereo separation and better
    bass quality without distortion

Self-powered by two AA batteries, Boostaroo will also increase your Pocket PC's battery life. In a typical Pocket PC, most of the battery power is used to run the CPU, software, and viewing screen. When your batteries run low, the device doesn't run slower or weaker; power is first lost to the audio. Then you have to crank up the volume to make up for the power loss, which gives you distortion. And, of course, turning up the volume drains the batteries faster. It's a vicious cycle.

The Boostaroo's innovative circuitry allows you to hear your favorite music at lower volume settings, and that will increase a Pocket PC's operating cycle by at least two or three hours before recharging is required.
